Seeking mental health treatment can be difficult. Hopefully, the frequently asked questions below can help.

I completed the Contact Us form. What should I expect next?Our support staff will reach out to you within the next 48 hours to complete a brief telephonic screening. You will be asked questions about past psychiatric care and current symptoms to determine if out practice can meet your needs, and which provider is best suited for you.

What insurance carriers do you accept?We accept Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Please note, if you have a BCBS plan other than Arizona, we are out of network for you. Please refer to our cash pay rates.

How is this different than speaking with a therapist?Providers at Rooted Mental Health Solutions are Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Sessions will involve discussions about your feelings and experiences coupled with prescription medication to help alleviate or improve those symptoms. Our providers also incorporate the use of nutraceutical interventions and dietary considerations when appropriate.

What is the out of pocket cost if you don't accept my insurance?Initial psychiatric evaluation | $285 30 minute follow up for medication management | $150

What forms of payment do you accept?We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Maestro. We are unable to accept personal checks at this time. Pay My Bill

What is your cancellation policy?We request 24 hours notice to avoid a cancelation/no show fee of $150 for a missed initial evaluation and $75 for a missed follow-up visit.
